A desk drawer contains the different-colored markers listed below.

12 green markers
4 blue markers
20 red markers
A marker will be randomly selected from the drawer and then replaced. Then another marker will be randomly selected from the drawer. What is the probability that a blue marker will be selected both times?

total no of markers :36

in first condition

no of blue marksers :4

so probability:


(4)/(36) = (1)/(9)

same goes to the second condition
