Chemical properties of a compound depends upon the valence electrons of the atoms . As Lithium , sodium and potassium all have 1 valence electron and they all have tendency to lose this 1 valence electron means all are monvalent. So lithium, sodium and potassium have same chemical but different physical peopertiés.
