2p + 30 = 80

p=25

Explanation:

he earns $2 for each pizza, so we get 2p.

Because he earns an extra 30 for the day, we add that to 2p and set it equal to 80

2p+30=80

subtract 30 on both sides

2p=50

Divide by 2 on both sides to find the number of pizzas

2p/2=50/2

So

p=25
