To keep it short and simple. Subtract 3 to five making it 2 and 4 to 7 making it 3. Since the slope is the rise and the y axis is the run the equation should be rise over run making it 3/2

Answer:

3/2

Explanation:

the slope is the ratio y/x indicating how many units y changes, when x changes a certain amount of units.

so, when we have 2 points, we can look at the difference of the x and y coordinates. y difference / x difference is the slope.

going from (3, 4) to (5, 7) changes x by +2 and y by +3.

so, the slope of the line is 3/2
