Answer:

A=1/2 × p×b

or, 120= pb/2

or, pb=240

now,

perimeter = p+b+h

60 = p+b+h

p+b = 60-h

(p+b)² = (60-h)²

p²+b²+2pb= h²-120h+3600 [pb=240]

h² +480=h²-120h+3600

480=3600-120h

3600-480=120h

120h= 3120

h=26

now,

p+b+h=60

p+b=34...........i

pb=240...... ii

solve it...

Answer:

10cm

Explanation:

Assuming the shape is a rectangle since it's already stated that it's a parallelogram, and the area is stated, we can use the Pythagorean theorem to find the length

a^(2) +b^2=c^2, where c will be the length

isolate c

c^2=a^2+b^2

c=√(a^2+b^2)

substitute for a and b

c=√(8^2+6^2)

c=√(64+36)

c=√(100)

c=10
