Considering Vikram is X years old today. Mariya's age would be X-6
In 2 years
X + 2 = 3(X-4)
Given that Vikram would be 3 times older than Mariya
X+2 = 3x - 12
2x = 14
X = 7
Vikram is 7 years old today and Mariya is 1.
