Rivers are important in South Africa because South africa has a hot and dry climate, so water is much needed. Rivers are also a source of beauty, and are a backbone to a nation with a hot and dry climate. Water is very vital to everyone's life.

And fun fact: you can go days without food, but you can barely go 24 hours without water.
