The reason that women had to struggle for the rights to vote is because of what's between their legs. A man was born with the privilege to go to school and to get any job he wanted meanwhile a women had to stay home to cook clean and take care of the kids. When the women of the 1800 had enough of being put to the side as just figures to carry and care for kids and grown men, they protested and fought until they got to vote, get a job, and go to school. But of course the men of that time did not think that women should have rights. Women still battle to this day for the same rights as men.

Why did women struggled for so long to gain the right to vote? Many of the reasons were based of common beliefs. For example, many argued that most women did not want the vote. Because they took care of the home and children, they said women did not have time to vote or stay updated on politics. Others would also argue that women weren't intelligent enough to have a useful opinion on politics. Another reason is, there were many issues the women's right movement had to overcome. Such as, there were many disagreements between the leaders. The disagreements were mainly about strategies and how to go about with the movement. All the women agreed the wanted to help other women, which helped them overcome this issue and continue with the movement. In the end, after all the struggling women went through. Over 100 years later, women have more rights than they did in the 1800s. So many women have made positive changes, making the women's right movement worth it.
