subtract
3.90 - 3.36 = 0.54
so 54 cents are saved

if 6 cans are bought individually, the price would be 65 cents times 6, so:
390 cents, or $3.90
if bought together, the price is $3.36
subtract to find the difference:
3.90 - 3.36 = 0.54
so,
54 cents are saved
