What is an exponent?
I am just confused. I need the definition. Thx

Answer:

an exponent is how many times you multiply a number by itself.

Explanation:

For example, if there is a 4 with a 3 as an exponent, you would solve 4x4x4, also known as 4 cubed. or if there was a 2 with a 4 as an exponent , you would do 2x2x2x2. Hope this helps :)
