I need help with these three questions please:)

1. Kathy bought a pair of jeans on sale for 30% off of the regular price. If the jeans regularly cost $75.00. How much did she pay? Show your equation you used to solve and then solve.
2.There are 625 students at Median Middle School. If there 8% of the students were absent on Tuesday, how many students were absent? Show your equation you used to solve and then solve.
3. A store buys cell phones from the manufacturer for $34.40 and marks them up by 85%. How much do they charge for the phones (what is the retail price)? Show your equation you used to solve and then solve

1. She payed $52.50 (sorry I only know question 1)

1. how I solved it: the equation is 30 percent of 75 = 22.5 and $75.00 - $22.50 = $52.50 therefore she pays $52.50

75 - 22.5 = 52.50

Answer for 2:

50

Explanation:

625(0.08) = 50

Answer for 3:

$63.64

Explanation:

34.4 + 34.4(0.85)

34.4 + 29.24 = 63.64
