How did the English colonies differ from the French colonies?

O English colonies tended to be far from the Atlantic coast.
The English monarchy had direct control over its colonies.
English colonies often were founded by joint-stock companies.
O English settlers were more focused on fur trapping and trading.

Answer:

I wanna say the one about monarchy simply because the king was even said to be sending troops constantly

the French focused on the collection of fur to sell to rich people

all the cities made by the English where on the northern East coast which is the coast of the Atlantic

and I've never heard of anything to do with join stock companies involving britain
