2 (9x-1) + 7 (x+6) = -60 (show work and solve for x)

So you start by distributing the 2 and 7 so you get (18x-2) +(7x+42) =-60

Then you add like terms giving you (25x+40)=-60

Then subtract 40 and you get 25x=-100

Finally you divide and get x=-4
