First society as a whole needs to be more vigilant and aware of everything going on in our world today. Many people turn a blind eye to these sorts of problems because they either do not know how to address it or they don’t know it’s going on.

1. Start donating more to organisations like Thorn, who create technology to find victims of sex trafficking and safely fretting them home and the help they need to move on.

2. Background checks, before meeting someone new and going out without knowing what could happen, make sure to look someone up. Either using a reverse picture search or their name.

3. Another way to limit and hopefully end human trafficking is being able to defend yourself and other in situations. Being able to get out of zip ties, duck tape, choke holds etc. will come in handy when being harassed/attacked.

Answer

  • Learn the indicators of human trafficking
  • Volunteer and support anti-trafficking efforts in your community
  • Contact your local, state and/or federal elected officials to show them you care about ending human trafficking and ask them what they are doing about it.
  • Be well-informed about human trafficking and efforts everywhere.
  • Host an awareness-raising event to inform other people about your cause and why they should help in your fight as well.
  • Organize a fundraiser and donate the proceeds to an anti-trafficking organization.
  • Encourage your local schools to include human trafficking in their curricula so that schoolchildren can be well-informed of it as well.
  • Use your social media sites to raise awareness about human trafficking by using tags such as #endtrafficking and #freedomfirst.

I hope I helped
