Answer:

v = (1)/(3) * h * r {}^(2) * \pi

v = \frac{12cm * (8cm) { }^(2) * \pi}{3}

v = \frac{768cm {}^(3)\pi }{3}

v = 256\pi \: cm {}^(3)

The volume of the cone is 803. 84cm³

To determine the volume of the cone, we have to know that the formula for calculating the volume of a cone is expressed as;

V = πr²h/3

Such that the parameters are;

  • h is the height of the cone
  • r is the radius of the cone

Then, we have that;

Volume = 3.14 × (8)² × 12/3

Divide the values, we get;

Volume = 3.14 × 64 ×4

Now, multiply the values, we get that the volume of the cone is expressed as;

Volume = 803. 84cm³
