where s is the semiperimeter and a, b , c the sides of the triangle.

(a+b+c)/(2) =

Then

√(4.5(4.5-4)(4.5-4)(4.5-1))

=
√(4.5(0.5)(0.5)(3.5))

=
√(3.9375)

≈ 1.9843...

= 2 ft² ( to the nearest square foot )
