Using the equation you can see that the slope would be 4x and the y-int. would be -4.

First what I would do is plot (0,-4) on the graph since you already know what is it.

There are a few ways to do this but I will give one of them.

We are going to find the x-int.

Find x

y = 4x -4

(Flip the equation)

4x -4 = y

(Add 4 on both sides)

4x - 4(+4) = y (+4)

4x= y +4

Divide each sides by 4

4x/4 = y+4/4

Simplify

x = y + 1

So using that the x in. would be 1. So plot the point (1,0) for your x-int.
