Answer:

x1 = -2, x2 = 8

Explanation:

You can first divide both sides of the equation by 2 so now you have:

I 2x - 6 I = 10

Then use the absolute value definiton and rewrite it into two separate equations:

1.) 2x - 6 = -10

2.) 2x - 6 = 10

From here you can solve both equations:

1.) x = -2

2.) x = 8
