Explanation:

It's a simple problem, to find the perimeter, add a+b+c. In this case, it's with binomials, but it follows the same idea.

(2x+2)+(3x+1)+(4x-1)

2x+2+3x+1+4x-1

Combine like terms.

2x+3x+4x=9x

2+1-1=2

Left with 9x+2 as your perimeter binomial.
