Rate of change=Slope:-


\\ \tt\hookrightarrow m=(1330-850)/(9-5)=(480)/(4)=120

  • 120bricks/hour

Equation in point slope form


\\ \tt\hookrightarrow y-850=120(x-5)


\\ \tt\hookrightarrow y-850=120x-600

  • Convert to slope intercept form


\\ \tt\hookrightarrow y=120x+250

  • 250 bricks stacked on the first day
