Given:

The radius of the fishing bobber = 0.5 inch.

To find:

The volume of the find bobber.

Solution:

We know that the shape of fishing bobber is a sphere.

The volume of a sphere is:

V=(4)/(3)\pi r^3

Substitute r=0.5 and
\pi=3.14 to find the volume of the fishing bobber.

V=(4)/(3)(3.14)(0.5)^3

V=(4)/(3)(3.14)(0.125)

V=0.52333...

Approx the value to the nearest tenth.

V\approx 0.5

Therefore, the volume of the fishing bobber is 0.5 cubic inches.
