The cube has 6 sides numbered 1 through 6. There are only two numbers less than 3 (1,2) so the probability of rolling a number less than three is 2 (#s less than 3) out of the total amount of numbers which is 6. Therefore your answer is B. 2/6. Hope this helped not too good at explaining.
