Given: In Parallelogram ABCD,

• mA = (7y+13)º
• m2B = (106 - 2x)º
• mC = (10y - 32)º
• m2D = (3x – 4)º

What are the values of x and y

Answer:

x = 110

y = 15

Explanation:

AB is parallel to CD

angle B and angle D are alternate and they are equal

106-2x = 3x-4

106 + 4 = 3x - 2x

110 = x

same goes for y

7y + 13 = 10y - 32

13 + 32 = 10y - 7y

45 = 3y divide both sides by 3

15 = y
