EXPLAIN how you would graph the line y = 1/3x + 5

Answer:

Okay so this is the best way to explain it, its already in y=mx+b form which is the easiest way to graph something, its where m= slope and b=the y-intercept so 1/3 is m so the slope is 1/3 but first we need to mark the y coordinate which is 5, so on your graph dot (0,5) then from that go up 1 and right 3 then that should be your graph!!! I've included pictures to help you know what it should look like.
