Explanation:

Given

f(x) = 6x - 5

f^-1(x) = ?

Let

y = f(x)

y = 6x - 5

Interchanging the roles of x and y we get

x = 6y - 5

6y = x + 5

y = ( x + 5 ) / 6

So therefore f^- 1(x) = (x + 5) / 6

Hope it helps :)❤
