har says that ¼ of a cereal bar is larger than ⅓ of the cereal bar. Is he correct? Explain your thinking/reasoning.

No, because if we take 1/4 and turn it into a decimal, it is 0.25. 1/3 into a decimal is 0.33. This can also be correct if we use the least common denominator. The LCM of 4 and 3 is 12. So if we take 1/4 and multiply it by 3, you will get 3/12. 1/3 multiplied by 4 is 4/12.
