What is the period of 1-sin 2πx/3? Please explain.

Answer:

Notice, period of function sin(kx) is 2π/k where k is constant (coefficient of x ) since coefficient of x in sin(2πx/3) is k=2π/3 hence the period of sin(2πx/3) is 2π/(2π/3)=3
