The allele for freckles, F, is dominant among humans. If a woman with freckles (FF) and a man without freckles (ff) have children, what are the possible genotypes of the children?

Answer:

Ff

Step-by-step explanation:

100% of the children will have freckles and will have the genotype Ff. If you draw out the punnett square, you will see that an F and an f will be in each box. If this is still confusing, I recommend looking up a video of how to use a punnett square, it will make sense. :)

Answer:

Ff

Step-by-step explanation:

F - freckles

f - no freckles

FF x ff

F F

f Ff Ff

f Ff Ff

100% with the dominant allele so 100% chance the children will have freckles

---> the possible genotypes are only Ff
