106 square inches is the correct answer!

1. Divide the shape into three sections (Two rectangles and one triangle)

2. Calculate the area of the triangle:

One side is 4 inches and the other side is 5 + 3 + (7 - 4) = 11 inches.

4 x 11 = 44

44 ÷ 2 = 22

3. Calculate the area of the top rectangle:

One side is 8 inches and the other side is 3 inches.

8 x 3 = 24

4. Calculate the area of the lower rectangle:

One side is 6 inches and the other side is 7 + 3 = 10 inches.

6 x 10 = 60

5. Add all of them together

22 + 24 + 60 = 106

Please let me know if I am wrong.
