b) 2/3

c) 1/6

Explanation:

a) 2/7 + 3/7

since the denominators are both 7 we use 7 as the LCM ( lowest common multiple)

2+3/7 = 5/7

b) 5+7/8 = 12/8. 4 can go into both numbers so it gives 3/2

c) 2/3 - 1/2 multiply the denominator since they are different (3×2) =6

4-3/6 = 1/6
