C is the longest side. 5.9 squared. The equation should look like this 3.4+b=5.9 (pretent there squared) since there squared you mulitply them by themsleves to 3.4x3.4 and 5.9x5.9 when you've done that you take the c-a. 34.81-11.56=22.25 now you take 22.25 and square it. 4.8 inches
