Noah printed a map of a walking trail. The length of the trail is 12 cm.

1 cm on the map represents 2 km on the actual trail. What is the scale factor from the map to the actual trail?

What is the length of the actual trail?

Answer:

well, 1x2 = 2, so it would be 24 because

12 x 2 = 24, so it would be a total of 24 kilometers
