A solid cylinder has a radius of 2 cm and a height of 7 cm. It has a density of 3.1 grams

per cubic em. What is the mass of the cylinder? Use 3.14 for pi and round your answer to the
nearest hundredth

V = 87.92 cm^3

Density = 3.1 grams / cm^3

Volume = 87.92 cm^3

3.1 = m / 87.92 Multiply both sides by 87.92

3.1 * 87.92 = m

m = 272.55

Note:

Technically There should be no decimal places. 3.1 is only 2 significant digits. The answer should be 270 grams.
