Answer:

y = xa - (4 + b)

where a or b do NOT = 1

Explanation:

changing a changes the angle of the line, where as changing b changes how high up or down the y-axis the line crosses at

the current problem draws a line that is 45 degrees and crosses the y-axis at -4, we can change that in any way, if we make a = 3, then the slope will be 3 times greater then if it was 1, if it was 1/3 then it would be 1/3 of the slope, making it seem flatter and less steep
