2.8 x 7.7 = 21.56
10^6 x 10^5 = 10^11

Because we need to make it a scientific notation, the decimal belongs to the right of the first digit. Therefore we move it one place to the left, giving us another 10^1.

Answer: 2.156 x 10^12
