First add 28.75 and 19.25. Now you have 48. Now add 8 percent sales tax on 48. Change 8 to a decimal so 0.08. Multiply 48x0.08. Now you have 3.84. Add 48+3.84 and you get 51.84. Your final answer is $51.84 :)
