1. If the DNA is carrying a silent mutation, what will be the impact it will have on the organism?

Essentially, a silent mutation is a change in codon sequence that codes for the same amino acid, resulting in no phenotypic, or physical change. The over all result is no difference and no gene expression. Silent mutations can provide the advantage of genetic diversity, although otherwise having no affect on and organism.
