A = 178 cm^2

Explanation:

Split the figure into a trapezoid and a rectangle

Area of trapezoid:

A = ((a+b)/2)*h

A = ((14+8)/2)*10

A = 150

Area of rectangle:

A = w*h

A = 2*14

A = 28

150+28

A = 178 cm^2
