"Oxygen and glucose (stored energy with carbon) are the products of photosynthesis. The carbon is created by the plants to make glucose and transferred to animals that eat the plants which illustrates the conservation of mass of carbon"

However, (because of the law of conservation) the carbon is still transferred to the animals that eat the plant. The carbon dioxide is broken down and separated into glucose and oxygen. This glucose and oxygen are the products of the reaction.
