I would love to say that I enjoyed them all, but I’m not sure this is true. I found the “Are you my mother” one particularly traumatizing. See, I was very attached to my mother and the idea of the little birdie going through all those horrible things before being able to find his mom, that had me in tears and I remember hiding the book.

The cat in the hat, well him I just found annoying and irresponsible. Green eggs and ham, my memory is fuzzy on this one, I don’t remember if I liked the rhymes and the overall idea or if I was disgusted by the green eggs.

The Lorax is my favorite Dr. Seuss book. This book is perfect for little kids because the story is simple. It teaches kids the importance of making sure that the Earth is kept clean. It teaches you the importance of recycling and helps you see the effects of pollution. It does all of this while also entertaining you and giving you a few giggles along the way.
