Your friend evaluates the expression when m = 10. is your friend correct? Explain your reasoning.

3m - 6 = 3(10) - 6
= 3(4)
=12

3•10 = 30 - 6 = 24

now when you do 3(4) you get 12 and then subtract the 12 from the 24 and you get 12

3 * 10 (m) = 30 so 30 - 6 = 24. 3(10) - 6 is basically the same thing just written different, so it equals 24 too. 3(4) just means 3 times 4 ,which equals 13. Hope that made sense lol
