Answer: x= 2/5 or x= 3

how?

Step 1: Subtract 17x from both sides

5x² + 6 -17x = 0

*PUT THEM IN ORDER* --> 5x² -17x + 6= 0

Step 2: Factor left side of equation:

(5x-2) (x-3) = 0

Step 3: Set factors equal to 0.

5x−2=0 or x−3=0

which gives us an answer of x= 2/5 or x=3
