Find the value of the expression 12y - 2xy, when x = 5 and y = 10.

12y-2xy

x=5, y=10

(12x10) -(2x5x10)

=120-100

=20

Explanation:

1.first collect the information you have been given in the question to make answering of the question easy.

2.then substitute the x value (in this case 5) and the y value (10) into the expression 12y - 2xy on there respectful positions.

3.having done so, you can then multiply and thereafter subtract as the question requires you to do.
