perimeter = 48 units , area = 76 units²

Formula's used:

  • Area = length * width
  • perimeter = 2 ( length + width )

Explanation:

  • perimeter = 10 + 14 + (10 - 8) + 8 + 8 + ( 14 - 8 ) = 48 units
  • area = ( 10 * 6 ) + ( 8 * 2 )

= 76 units²
