Answer:

1)A centimetre (international spelling) or centimeter (American spelling) (SI symbol cm) is a unit of length in the metric system, equal to one hundredth of a metre, centi being the SI prefix for a factor of 1100.

2)1000 ml

We know that 1 litre = 1000 ml, hence, the conversion factor that is used to convert liters to millilters is 1000.

3)My Solution:

Empty the 3-liter bowl, and then transfer the 2 liters from the 5-liter bowl into it. Now fill the 5-liter bowl again, then pour water carefully from the 5-liter bowl into the 3-liter bowl until it is full - exactly one more liter. The 5-liter bowl now has exactly 4 liters.
