1. −2x + 6 = -16
2. -10 + 5x = -45
Can you help me?

I just know that 2 is X = 6

Answer:

for the first one, it's x=11. first, you have to subtract 6 from both sides (-2x+6-6=-16-6) then you simplify that so you get -2x=-22, and from there you divide both sides by -2

getting -2x/-2=-22/-2 then you simplify that and get x=11

and for the second one x=-7. first, you have to add 10 to both sides

(-10+5x+10=-45+10) then simplify that down to 5x=-35 then divide both sides by 5 (5x/5=-35/5) then simplify that down to x=-7
