What is the absolute value of the integers, 1-41, 1 +51, 1-61?​

Hi there!

absolute value= the opposite of that number if only negative:

Step By Step Explanation:

  • 1-41=41-1

41-1=40

bring a negative sign if not absolute value.

  • 1+51=51+1

1+51=52

since it’s already in it’s abolute value it won’t change..

  • 1-61=61-1

61-1=60

bring a negative sign if nessary..

Therefore, the absolute value for the expression 1-41, 1 +51, 1-61 is 40,52, and 60..

Absolute value:

|1-41| = 40

|1+51| = 52

|1-61| = 60

Note: Absolute value will always be positive!
