Answer:

\boxed{ \sf Cuts \ x-axis \ at \ (9,0 ).}

\boxed{ \sf Cuts \ y-axis \ at \ (0,6).}

Explanation:

We need to graph a linear equation and we need to find the point on which it crosses the x and y axis . The given equation is,

\sf\longrightarrow 2x + 3y = 18

For graphing it's line we need at least two points . hair we can find out the points on which it cuts the x and y axis and then using those two points we can plot its graph.

Step 1 : Put x = 0 in the equation :-

\sf\longrightarrow 2*0 + 3y = 18

Simplify ,

\sf\longrightarrow 0 + 3y = 18

Add ,

\sf\longrightarrow 3y = 18

Divide both sides by 3 ,

\sf\longrightarrow \underline{\purple{ y = 6}}

Step 2: Put y = 0 in the equation :-

\sf\longrightarrow 2x + 3*0 = 18

Simplify ,

\sf\longrightarrow 2x = 18

Divide both sides by 2 ,

\sf\longrightarrow \underline {\purple{x = 9}}

Hence the line cuts y axis on (0,6) and on x axis at (9,0) . Now these two points plot the graph . [ Graph is in attachment ]
