84 units divided by 6+3+3 units is 84/12= 7 (value of each unit)
6x7: 3x7: 3x 7
42: 21: 21

first, divide the £84 in half (by 2)
this comes out to be £42
secondly, divide £42 in half (by 2)
this comes out to be £21
the answer is:
£42 : £21 : £21
