\huge\boxed{\ x=13/10 } :)

My steps:

First thing we do is: Rearrange terms

  • 15−4x=2(3x+1)
  • −4x+15=2(3x+1)

Second thing we do is: Distribute

  • −4x+15=2(3+1)
  • −4x+15=6x+2

Third thing we do is : Subtract 15 from both sides of the equation

  • −4x+15=6x+2
  • −4x+15−15=6x+2−15

Then you carry on and find solution:

  • x=13/10

Hope this help's!
